Around after 3 months the new year has begun, the world is all set to see the 1st Solar Eclipse of 2025.
A solar eclipse is said to occur when the moon comes between the sun and the Earth, and all three are in a straight line.
1st Partial Solar Eclipse of 2025
The world is going to witness the 1st ever partial solar eclipse of 2025 on March 29, 2025. Due to geographic conditions, some places will witness this beautiful visual while some regions will not be able to view it.
In Vedic astrology, solar eclipse is also known as Surya Grahan. It is not considered favourable for many things such as eating particular things.
As it is a partial eclipse, it will form a crescent-like shape, thus creating a beautiful visual in the sky.
First Solar Eclipse In India of 2025
According to NASA, this 1st partial solar eclipse of 2025 will not be visible in India. However, it is set to be visible in Europe, Greenland, Iceland, Eastern Canada, Northwestern Africa, and some parts of the Northeastern US.
As per Indian time the partial social eclipse will start at 2:20 PM and will reach at its peak at 4:17 PM.
At what time to watch it
Some parts of Europe who are to witness this eclipse can view it around 10 AM GMT and its peak will be around 11:03 AM GMT.
Some parts of US will begin to see it at 4:50 AM EDT. However different cities have different timezones. So time range will vary.
Points to consider for witnessing it
1) Do not view it directly with the naked eye.
2) Wear proper certified solar eclipse glasses.
3) Do not use CDs, DVDs etc as they are not safe.
4) If you do not have proper gadgets, you can view it on TV.
By this, you will be able to view it and enjoy it. And also your eyes will be safe.
